I am inspired by each and every individual person that I photograph. I feed off the natural emotions of a person, couple, or family and the spontaneity that occurs while they're in front of the camera.

As much as I value my photography, I care just as much about you. I try to make every step of the process effortless and uncomplicated.

You won’t find any hidden fees or fine print with MI. My products and packages are simple and easy to understand and our clients always receive files in high resolution with all our packages. The photos are yours to own, of course.

-How would you describe your style of photography?

Natural and relaxed. My primary goal is to capture your wedding day or family the way you remember - relaxed, natural, and full of emotion. My vast experience allows me to anticipate those once-in-lifetime moments and to be in the right place, at the right time. I take advantage of natural lighting as much as possible. I do add a bit of an artistic touch. This is a combination of composition, lens selection, and post-editing. Every image is edited for optimum exposure, saturation, and color balance. I also edit blemishes and background distractions.

I will provide all your images in color and then tone selected images in various styles such as black & white, sepia, saturated, antiques, and other mixed tones.

-Do you pose us?

I normally try to place you in a relaxed position and then let you interact. I try to take many different types of poses (traditional, relaxed, and fun) so that you have many styles to choose from. I have found that moving quickly and taking many different poses and locations allows our clients to stay relaxed and look natural.

-Do I get the rights to my images?

All our packages come with unlimited downloads and rights to your images. You will receive a personal website and link to download your images in full-resolution JPEG format. You can upload these files online or take them to a local printer to make reprints or a canvas enlargements. These files will typically enlarge to 24 x 36.

-What is your typical turnaround time?

Our typical turnaround time varies depending on what we are capturing. Portraits, newborns, and engagements have a 2 week turnaround time. For wedding photography clients my average turnaround time is 6 - 8 weeks. I take my time to edit every image I provide you. If I anticipate that my editing will take longer than the normal, I will give you advance notice at your session.

-What type of equipment do you use?

I use the very best professional Canon cameras and lenses. I bring a wide variety of lenses in order to provide you many different looks and prospectives. I always bring backups of all equipment.

-Can we select our location?

Yes, most of my packages allow you to select locations within the San Diego area. My mini sessions are limited to locations in the North County area. This allows my clients the ability to create the backdrops that they want.

-What is your wedding photography deposit?

I require a 1/3 deposit to book your wedding date. The deposit can be paid using MC, Visa, Venmo, or personal check.

-When is the payment due?

Final wedding photography payment is due 7 days prior to your wedding date.

Portrait/Newborn/Maternity payments are due by the day of your session.
